So after 8 months of waiting for the banks to give us an answer to approve and accept one of the many offers on our condo's short sale they came back with a YES with a 4 day escrow and 3 days to move out and into a storage unit. Very bitter sweet. We made a home there but it's time for the big adventure, right? Well hold on just a min, there's a catch. We had planned on starting our trip around the world in Feb to move westward to south east Asia then to China, Nepal, Russia, and on to Europe. With all of research we had done we would follow the great weather as well as the off season ticket prices - the off season tickets that would keep us on a shoestring budget as we work our way around the world, and I mean work as in take any job we can get. As you can see today is June 1st. The house is now sold. Our material possessions have been stored or sold off in prep for our adventure and ticket prices have double to tripled for the travel season. :(
More complications have just come up. I have just got recommended for my dream job that I won't be giving details about at this time. I am so torn - dream job or adventure? The GUILT. No one wants regrets, should have could haves. So I am 100% in applying for the job. Did I tell you the job's only temporary, one year to a year and a half at most. So we can still go on the adventure then and that way I might have two shoestrings to help get me to the next stop. Whatever happens I know that I am going to give Tim lots of love for putting him through this.
